About Friends of Las Vegas Academy Foundation
Friends of Las Vegas Academy Foundation was established to meet the unique financial needs of LVA, a five-star, 12-time Grammy award-winning public high school dedicated to the performing arts. Serving over 1,700 talented students, LVA offers a tuition-free, specialized education where acceptance is earned through an audition in majors such as Theater, Musical Theater, Theater Tech, Dance, Band, Orchestra, Vocal/Choir, Piano, World Jazz Studies, Guitar, Mariachi, and Visual Arts. This exceptional education requires additional funding to ensure every student can fully benefit from their experience. Friends of LVA proudly funds scholarships and supports vital enhancements such as theater upgrades, a state-of-the-art recording studio, the first official LVA piano lab, new computers, scientific calculators, Broadway-style projection scenery equipment, sound equipment, new dance floors, print shop resources, new instruments, uniforms, library upgrades, and professional masterclasses.
