Meet Dee, a 28-year-old, first-generation immigrant from Mexico City, and the founder behind Dipped by Dee! Her dipping journey started in high school as a hobby, which quickly turned into a business project after she started college at the University of New Mexico.

Through competing in multiple business plan competitions at UNM, Dee learned the value of trial & error, which allowed her to perfect her business plan and helped her to win future competitions & $3,500 in prize money.

​

After graduating, Dee moved to Hawaii to be with her husband, who was stationed there. Six months into living in Hawaii, Dee decided to quit her serving job & take Dipped by Dee to the next level.

​

With the overwhelming support of Hawaii & the help of her business partners, Ted and Korina Jung, they successfully opened the first Dipped by Dee location in Kalihi.
