Early Times Bottled-In-Bond
Made under the U.S. Bottled-in-Bond standards: distilled in a single distillation season by one distiller, aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof. It is produced now under Sazerac (after their acquisition), using the same mash bill and yeast strain that helped define its earlier profile.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Bright fruit tones-peach, raspberry, and dried apricot-alongside vanilla custard and toasted marshmallow, with a spicy rye kick.
Palate: Rich caramel and vanilla upfront, fruity notes linger, elevated by creamy oak and mild rye spice.
Finish: Lingering with fruit and spice, sweet-oak warmth, and a clean, satisfying close.
What Makes It Special
Meets true Bottled-in-Bond requirements, which assures quality and consistency.
Delivers strong flavor at value pricing: good bourbon at 100 proof without premium markup.
Offers bright fruit character uncommon in many budget bourbons.
