Art, history, and national identity come together in this evocative program featuring Hindemith's Mathis der Maler Symphony and Respighi's beloved tone poem, The Pines of Rome.

Frank Ticheli's powerful orchestral fantasy Radiant Voices opens this emotionally rich program. Then, acclaimed soloist Leland Ko joins the DSO for DvoÃ…â"¢ÃƒÂ¡k's deeply expressive Cello Concerto in B minor.

Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 7:30 pm - Drama of the Sea
Nature and drama collide with Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture and Britten's haunting Four Sea Interludes. The concert also features a solo performance by the First Place Winner of the DSO's 2026 Young Artists Auditions.

Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 7:30 pm - American Reflections
The season closes with a stirring celebration of American music: Margaret Bonds' Montgomery Variations, Barber's lyrical Violin Concerto performed by virtuoso Nathan Meltzer, and Copland's triumphant Symphony No. 3, featuring his iconic Fanfare for the Common Man.
