Description: This grant will enhance our Promethean ActivPanel by transforming it into a room-roaming hub for interactive learning and real-time support. Currently, instruction is tethered to the front of the room, limiting the ability to provide individualized support and maintain dynamic engagement. By screen-mirroring the iPad to the ActivPanel, I can move freely throughout the classroom to facilitate lessons, annotate content, and model problem-solving from anywhere, increasing proximity to students and enabling real-time, targeted support. The iPad bundle and stand will also function as a modern document camera, allowing me to display and annotate student work, model writing strategies, and conduct close readings of texts directly on the ActivPanel. This flexibility creates a more fluid, responsive, and interactive classroom environment. The iPad's mobility and versatility will encourage collaboration, support instant formative assessments, and make it easier to showcase student work without interrupting the flow of instruction. This integration of tools will increase engagement, participation, and connection-transforming the ELA classroom into an active space for authentic learning and creative expression.
