Description: I am requesting a Promethean ActivPanel to elevate the learning experience and foster deep student engagement in my classroom. This multi-use tool transforms the front of the room into an interactive hub where its multi-touch screen allows multiple students to collaborate on activities simultaneously, making small-group learning more dynamic and hands-on. The panel's annotation and screen-sharing features empower students to visually articulate their thought processes. By sharing their work, students solidify their own understanding while providing classmates with new perspectives. This practice fosters a collaborative culture where every student's thinking is valued, building both confidence and community within the classroom. Furthermore, the ActivPanel untethers me from a fixed location. I can move freely to facilitate small groups, check for understanding, and provide immediate, personalized feedback.
