Description: This grant will provide Ruckus Storage Lab Tables, which will transform our Engineering and Agriculture classroom into a more flexible, organized, and student-centered learning environment. These tables support authentic learning experiences by enabling hands-on exploration, collaboration, and movement-key elements in STEM and Ag education.
Designed to support up to four or six students per table, each unit includes storage bins and an integrated base that keeps essential tools and materials within reach. This reduces downtime spent gathering supplies and increases active learning time. A whiteboard table top encourages visual thinking and real-time problem-solving. Heavy-duty swivel casters enable tables to move easily, allowing teachers to reconfigure the space for various instructional needs-from large collaborative builds to individual lab investigations.
With more efficient use of classroom space, students will experience smoother transitions between activities and improved teamwork opportunities. A well-organized and adaptable environment helps reduce distractions and fosters deeper engagement in real-world problem-solving. By investing in these innovative lab tables, FISD will enhance student learning outcomes and create future-ready spaces where creativity, communication, and engineering practices thrive.
