Description: This grant will directly support early literacy and language acquisition, providing a multi-sensory and tactile approach to learning sight words. For our youngest learners, authentic engagement with reading begins with being able to quickly recognize high-frequency words. This resource allows students to physically manipulate and feel the letters as they read the words, creating a stronger, more lasting memory connection than simply seeing the words on a flashcard or screen. This hands-on, interactive process makes the abstract concept of reading concrete and engaging.
