Description: The Learning Without Tears digital license provides interactive, developmentally appropriate tools that support early writing readiness and letter formation in pre-kindergarten/Kindergarten students. Through multisensory, play-based instruction, children engage in fine motor, visual-motor, and prewriting activities that build foundational handwriting skills essential for future academic success.
This grant will fund digital access for special education early childhood and prekindergarten classes to allow consistent, individualized pre-writing/writing practice that aligns with early learning standards. The platform's engaging, child-friendly design promotes correct letter formation, proper pencil grasp, and hand-eye coordination while integrating seamlessly into classroom instruction and therapy sessions.
By incorporating Learning Without Tears' digital resources, early childhood and prekindergarten teachers can better support diverse learners through differentiated instruction and data-driven progress monitoring. The program fosters student engagement, independence, and confidence-key components of our district's strategic goal to "optimize engagement to ensure the growth of each learner.?
