This lot contains three bottles of DAOU Vineyards wine. It includes: one 2010 DAOU Reserve Zinfandel, one 2010 DAOU Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and one 2011 DAOU Celestus.

DAOU Family Estates is a winery in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles, California, founded by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou. Perched on Daou Mountain, the winery is known for its Bordeaux-style red wines, particularly its Cabernet Sauvignon. The Daou brothers sought a location with a terroir similar to Bordeaux, and their commitment to meticulous, high-quality winemaking has earned them critical acclaim. The winery is situated on Daou Mountain at an elevation of 2,200 feet, with vines 14 miles from the Pacific Ocean, which creates a unique climate for growing grapes.

2010 DAOU Reserve Zinfandel: "The nose is treated to aromas of steeped strawberries and crushed red plums with hints of Asian spices to be discovered. This wine shows ripe fruit with restrained structure, and the balance is consistent with DAOU winemaking." - Vivino Review

2010 DAOU Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon: "Rich, Dense, Soft and incredibly concentrated, this Cabernet gives wave after wave of blackberry jam, chocolate, licorice and cedar flavors. Feels elegant, complex and fine." - Wine Enthusiast

2011 DAOU Celestus: "The wine's nose is dominated by ripe blue and black fruit; blackberries lead the way. Also noticed are mid-season lilacs combined with black peppercorns and dark shaved chocolate. The fruit base on the palate is a complex array of flavors included pressed blackberries, steeped dark cocoa, vanilla beans and fresh picked violets." - Winemaker Notes
