Enjoy three bottles of 2009 Domaine Isabel Ferrando Chateneuf-du-Pape Colombis.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a region in the southern Rhône River Valley whose name is derived from the fourteenth century when French-born popes made Avignon their frequent residence, is famous for its rocky soil and hearty red wines. While eighteen different wine varietals are allowed to be included in the appellation, the predominant ones are Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre.

Robert Parker gives this wine a 96 rating and describes it as "a stunner that's overflowing with sweet kirsch and assorted red fruits, licorice and herbes de Provence-like aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, seamless and downright sexy."
