Love Lives On Pet Tribute Walk 2025

Join us for an evening stroll honoring the pets who have touched our lives and left lasting paw prints on our hearts. The Love Lives On Pet Tribute Walk is a peaceful, reflective event where families and pet lovers can come together to celebrate the bond we share with our beloved companions, past and present.

•   Walk in memory of a pet
•   Add your tribute to our Love Lives On Pet Memorial Sculpture

Who can participate:

•   Friendly, leashed, vaccinated pets are welcome (One Pet Per Adult Walker)
•   Individual Human Walkers are welcome to join in tribute to their past pets
•   Walk registration includes a pet bandana and tribute opportunities at the event

Event Timeline

5:00 pm - Check In Begins

5:30 pm - Opening Ceremony

5:45 pm - Walk Begins (Route starts at Humane Fort Wayne's public trail, through Lindenwood and back)

7:00 pm - Anticipated Walk Finish

Please Note on Accessibility:
The tribute walk will take place along a wooded, mulched trail. While beautiful and serene, this path may be difficult for wheelchairs, strollers, or those with mobility concerns. We are happy to provide alternative ways for you to participate or honor your pet if you're unable to join the walk itself.

By completing registration for the Love Lives On Pet Tribute Walk, the participant acknowledges and agrees to the following:

In consideration for being granted access to the property of Humane Fort Wayne and Lindenwood Cemetery for participation in dog walking and related activities, the participant hereby releases and holds harmless Humane Fort Wayne and Lindenwood Cemetery-including their volunteers, employees, managers, directors, officers, administrators, and board members-from any and all claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, or suits arising out of or in connection with participation in this event or use of the premises.
