Travel with Monika Arora to Northern India for an interactive cooking experience. You'll learn about age-old Indian spices and easy tricks to master some of India's favorite comfort foods, all with a healthy twist, in the convenience and comfort of your own home.
Monika Arora spent her entire childhood in her family's Indian restaurant watching their chef's mastery while taste testing mouthwatering dishes. She learned her love and passion for cooking from her mom, who was a fantastic cook. She went on to do her MBA and work for GE and JP Morgan, but came back to her first love, which was cooking her family's cherished recipes. Monika recently published a cookbook of treasured family recipes, which is a tribute to her late mother. She is a frequent guest on NBC Living Dayton, Fox 8 News in Cleveland, and Good Day Columbus. She most recently competed on "Next Level Chef, Season 3 with Gordon Ramsey". She has also taught cooking classes at Columbus State, Dorothy Lane, New Albany Heitz Center, The Seasoned Farmhouse, and The Little Cooking School.

She calls it "Bollywood in a Box": "We start with making mango martinis, then have some appetizers, I teach how to make an authentic Indian dinner which consists of chicken tikka masala, coconut curry shrimp or salmon, curried chickpeas, raita, naan, rice & salad. Then, dessert well. Plenty of delicious food and even leftovers".
