Bunchberry, also known as Creeping Dogwood, is an excellent shady ground cover with unique leaves, bright white flowers, and berries. A hardy, adaptive, and low-maintenance plant, bunchberry thrives in a variety of soil and likes shade. Bunchberry's edible fruit, high in pectin, a naturally occurring thickener, can be used to help jams, jellies, and fruit preserves set. This is the smallest member of the Dogwood family.
