Get ready for an exciting and delicious evening without having to leave your home! Chef Glenn Batten will create a special evening for 12 guests at your private residence. The evening will include appetizers and accompanying wine cocktail hour (wine included), chef plated and presented 5 course meal, and display of miniature desserts. You'll work with Chef Glenn to select the menu and choose a mutual date in 2026 (Wednesday or Thursday) to host this incredibly unique private dinner.
Chef Glenn, nourished by his grandmother's love of cooking, started his culinary career in Baltimore at the tender age of 14. He trained at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and graduated with honors from the Baltimore International Culinary College. His thirst for use of local and indigenous foods goes back to his early years being raised near the Chesapeake Bay Region of Maryland. He looks forward to providing local Maryland cuisine as part of the menu. Glenn is currently the Vice President of of Culinary at Chartwells Higher Ed and has been a Culinarian for over 30 years! His mother, Mary "Virginia" Hoefner, was cared for by Gilchrist and he looks forward to giving back as a way of saying thank you.
