ABOUT ST. JOHN'S MINISTRIES

Our mission is to honor the dignity, restore hope and create lasting change for those experiencing homelessness or housing instability in the greater Green Bay community.

At St. John's Ministries, we believe that each person is unique, with the same inherent worth as the day they were born. We meet each of our guests right where they're at and walk alongside them on their journey. Our vision is that through a spirit of familiarity, rapport and trust, each person will leave better than they came.

Our services are robust and include two seasonal emergency shelters of last resort, where we provide adults experiencing homelessness with a safe place to sleep during the harsh winter months. We also offer two daytime resource centers, the Micah Center and Wellspring, where we equip adults experiencing homelessness - as well as community members at-risk - with the tools to achieve self-sufficiency.

Celebrating 20 Seasons of Shelter. 20 Seasons of Hope.

This year marks a deeply meaningful milestone for St. John's Ministries: our 20th season of offering shelter, dignity, and hope to those in our community who need it most. For two decades, we've stood in the gap for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability in the greater Green Bay area-offering more than just a safe place to sleep, but a pathway to a better tomorrow.

As we reflect on this legacy, we also recognize the increasing urgency of our mission. We've just concluded our busiest shelter season on record-serving up to 170+ guests per night. The need is growing, and our commitment to meeting that need has never been stronger.

We invite you to join us in rising to this challenge by supporting our Restoring Hope Gala, our largest and most impactful event of the year. Held at an exclusive venue, this year's Gala will be a powerful evening of inspiration, community, and purpose. 

St. John's Ministries Restoring Hope Gala will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Weidner Center. 

Community supporters will enjoy an exclusive evening on the Cofrin Stage with others who are making an impact in the Green Bay community and investing in a great cause.

Proceeds from the event benefit St. John's Ministries and its two homeless shelters of last resort and two daytime resource centers. The mission to honor dignity, restore hope and create lasting change for those experiencing homelessness is stronger than ever.

We are thrilled to invite you to our exclusive celebration and fundraising event on Saturday, October 4, 2025.

Event Timeline:
5:00-6:00 pm: Check-in opens. Reception in the Weidner Center in the Lobby. 

The pre-registration option allows you more time to enjoy the company, drinks and place bids or buy raffle tickets. Please try and pre-register to save yourself time on the night of. 

6:15 pm: Dinner, Event Presentation and Live Auction

Attire | Parking | Check-Out

Attire: Guests typically wear cocktail attire. Please note a coat rack is available next to the registration table.

Parking is available in the lot near the Weidner Center Entrance. Our top Sponsors will receive a VIP Parking Benefit. 

Check-Out: We prefer you have a card on file before the night begins. If you are the winning bidder of a raffle, silent auction, live auction package or donate throughout the night, you will need to stop at the check-out table and a staff member will collect your purchases.
