CAMILLE HAWBAKER VOORHEES is a mixed media artist who was born and raised in the Midwest. She manipulates traditional craft techniques from printmaking, book arts, and fiber arts to explore the perpetual nature of change within inherited systems of thought. She has shown her award-winning artwork both nationally and internationally, including the Sheldon Museum of Art, The Joslyn Art Museum, and the Faculty of Arts at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Hawbaker Voorhees has also been an Artist-in-Residence in the School of Art, Art History, and Design at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She earned her MFA in Studio Art from UNL in 2014 and maintains her studio practice in Omaha, Nebraska.
