RICHARD CHUNG (b. 1977, Honolulu, Hawaii) is a sculptor based in Omaha, Nebraska. His figurative works in ceramics and bronze explore motion, subtle gesture, and the complexities of human connection. After earning his BA in Studio Art at the University of California, Berkeley under Richard Shaw, Chung relocated to Omaha to work with Jun Kaneko. His work is held in major public collections, including the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.

In 2025, Chung was awarded the public art commission for the new Omaha Central Library, where he is creating a large-scale bronze figure. Alongside this project, he continues to expand his practice into editioned bronze works.
