ANNE MUNTGES is a Brooklyn-based artist who transforms everyday spaces through highly detailed drawings, prints, and installations. Rooted in a drawing practice that crosses into sculpture and immersive environments, her work explores the boundaries between order and chaos, imagination, and reality. Using meticulous linework, she recreates domestic and urban spaces that reflect the passage of time, memory, and personal history. Her immersive installations envelop viewers in hand-drawn worlds where every surface is covered, questioning what is real and what is fabricated. Muntges holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from the University at Buffalo. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is held in collections including the Library of Congress, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, and the California College of the Arts. She is a past recipient of a NYFA/NYSCA Fellowship and has been awarded residencies at Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Roswell RAiR, and BRIC.
