Series X is an ongoing wall-mounted ceramic sculpture series depicting intersecting lines. Twenty-eight tablets from this series have been acquired by Centennial Yards for the massive development currently nearing completion in the Gulch.

Bio:
Known for his public art installations, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media constructions, Gregor Turk often incorporates mapping imagery, signage, and cultural markings into his artwork. He has permanent public art installations at the Atlanta and Jacksonville airports and public facilities throughout the city including several parks, a library, police precinct, and fire station. This fall Turk will install a public artwork using convex security mirrors in Piedmont Park funded through the generosity of The Antinori Foundation. His work is in the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, High Museum, MOCA-GA, Federal Reserve, and numerous other public and private collections. Turk grew up in Atlanta, received his B.A. from Rhodes College in Memphis and his M.F.A. from Boston University. Between degrees he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia.
