Chevron of the 11th Separate Army Aviation Brigade
This embroidered patch represents the 11th Separate Army Aviation Brigade, a unit of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Established in 1992, the brigade is based at Chornobaivka airfield near Kherson and operates under Operational Command South. The brigade operates Mi-24 attack helicopters and Mi-8 and Mi-2 transport helicopters. It has participated in various operations, including the War in Abkhazia, MONUSCO, and the Russo-Ukrainian War.
The chevron features high-quality embroidery on durable fabric, measuring approximately 10 x 7 cm. It includes a Velcro backing for easy attachment to uniforms and tactical gear. The design incorporates symbolic elements reflecting the brigade's identity and heritage.
This insignia not only signifies the brigade's role within the Ukrainian military structure but also honors its contributions to the nation's ongoing defense efforts.
