Chevron of the 169th Training Center "Desna" - Olive Variant. This olive-colored chevron represents the 169th Training Center "Desna," officially named after Prince Yaroslav the Wise. The patch measures approximately 7 x 8 cm and is crafted from durable fabric with high-quality embroidery. It features a Velcro (hook-and-loop) backing, allowing for easy attachment to various military uniforms and tactical gear.

The 169th Training Center, located in Desna, Chernihiv Oblast, is a division-sized formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. Established on December 1, 1987, it evolved from the 48th Guards Tank Training Division and has a rich history dating back to the Soviet era. The center's primary mission is to train junior specialists and contract personnel for various branches of the Ukrainian Army. Notably, it is the successor of the 5th Guards Zvenigorod Order of the Red Banner and Alexander Suvorov Second Degree Airborne Division, which played a significant role during World War II.

This chevron serves as a symbol of the center's enduring commitment to excellence in military training and its historical significance within Ukraine's armed forces.
