2025 NYC Summer Social

Join us on Wednesday, July 30th, for the 19th Annual Summer Social, hosted by the Leadership Council at PHD Rooftop Lounge at Dream Downtown. Known as one of the summer's most anticipated events, the Summer Social brings together top professionals from finance, media, and the creative world, all in support of thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Guests will enjoy a sponsored open bar and DJ, a digital silent auction, appearances by Special Olympics New York athletes, and more! It's the Leadership Council's signature event, and we look forward to continuing the event's success with supporters like you!

2025 Honoree - James Tang

We're excited to recognize James Tang as this year's Summer Social Honoree! As a longtime member of the Leadership Council for nearly 20 years, James has been instrumental in shaping the Summer Social into the incredible event it is today. His dedication, leadership, and support have made a lasting impact on Special Olympics New York. James is the Senior Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at A.G.P. / Alliance Global Partners, and we're proud to celebrate all he's done for our athletes.

2025 Athlete Honorees - Jordan & Keanu

Meet our amazing Athlete Honorees Jordan (left) and Keanu (right)! These longtime Special Olympics New York athletes have competed in sports like track to basketball and proudly represent the Brooklyn Dragons. This November, Jordan will take on the 2025 New York City Marathon alongside members of our Leadership Council! Thank you, Jordan and Keanu, for being such inspiring ambassadors for Special Olympics New York!

We're working toward a $20,000 goal to sponsor 57 local athletes through our Sponsor an Athlete campaign. Every $350 raised gives one athlete like Jordan or Keanu a full season of sports, training, and competition. You can help us get a head start by donating today.
