When Holly first arrived at one of Dallas Pets Alive's partner shelters, her spirit was as fragile as her little jaw. Her signature underbite (adorable as it is) tells the story of a past filled with neglect and mistreatment. Her broken jaw had never been properly treated, leaving it to heal on its own.

But Holly refused to let her past define her future. Once rescued by the Dallas Pets Alive team, she received the care, love and safety she had always deserved. Today Holly is thriving in her forever home, proof that resilience, compassion, and a second chance can transform even the most challenging beginnings into the happiest of endings.
