This striking piece, "Nobel Peace Prize 1906", is created by Dan Christoffel, one of Long Island's most recognized historical artists. Using charcoal and white Conte, Christoffel combines his passion for history with his skill as a representational painter. His works tell more than just stories - they capture the emotions of U.S. presidents during times of change. Christoffel's art has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and he currently serves as artist-in-residence at Long Island University. His Lincoln series, documented by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, was featured in a retrospective at the Long Island Art League.
