2025 Keynote Speaker: Reverend Donovan A. Coley Sr.
Donovan A. Coley Sr. migrated to the United States from Kingston, Jamaica in 1982, in pursuit of a dream to maximize his God given potential and change the world. He attended and graduated from Taylor University with a bachelor's degree in business, and later earned a master's degree from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. He received an Honorary Doctorate from Indiana Wesleyan University in Humane Letters and will wrap up his earned Doctorate from Grace Theological Seminary in the next few months.
Donovan is married to Grace, also a native of Jamaica and together are the proud parents of four adult children and three grandchildren. Pastor "D," as he is affectionately called, became the CEO of The Rescue Mission and President of the Rescue Mission Foundation in March 2008, after serving on the Board for two years. On June 30, 2023, Donovan transitioned from The Rescue Mission as CEO and was honored with the new title of President Emeritus by the Board of Trustees. Donovan has since launched a Consulting/Coaching firm with Executive and Organizational Development as the focus.
He is an international speaker and strategic thinker in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds. Donovan fully embraces his identity as a Christ follower, who listens to others while possessing a teachable spirit and a commitment to maintain authenticity with respect. Donovan believes that living with tension is an opportunity for growth, understanding and collaboration.
