All cotton material used in the front and back, with 80/20 batting, binding is hand sewn, machine quilted top. Wash in cold water with a color catcher, partially line dry, then machine dry, iron as necessary.

Grace Lutheran quilters are a group of 20 women who come together every Monday morning first for fellowship and coffee (after all we are Lutherans and mostly of Scandinavian heritage), we later move on to a variety of projects. We also attract individuals from the community to be part of our group. Everyone has a job in the process even non quilters. We provide quilts to several long term care facilities, an apartment complex for people at risk of homelessness, members of our church experiencing a challenging time in their life, our graduating high school seniors, and babies being baptized.

We donate 12 quilts to Lutheran World Relief each year and make wheelchair and walker bags. Recently we began making port pillows to place on seat belts to cushion the area where someone has a central line for infusion, usually for treatment of cancer. We deliver these to the infusion centers at Aspirus St. Luke's and Essentia. They are very appreciated.
