To the nose, the 2021 Ackerman Family Vineyards Alavigna Tosca has enticing aromas of sweet red cherry, dark plum, red currant and toasty oak. To the palate, it is wonderfully complex, rich, medium-plus bodied palate with lush tannins and an overall juicy brightness.

The 2014 Ackerman Family Vineyards Le Chatalaine Red Wine to the nose is intense with blackberry, black currant, ripe dark plum, and a hint of pencil shavings. On the palate the wine is rich and full-bodied, showing a sweetness of fruit and medium-full tannins creating an almost ying and yang dance on the palate. The long finish is complex, earthy, and sublime.
