Olympic Gold and Silver medalist, AJ Mleczko Griswold, started Ice Out ALZ in order to raise awareness and rally the sports community to make a difference for those living with Alzheimer's and dementia on Nantucket. Her mother, Bambi Gifford Mleczko, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at age 69 and it has been heart-breaking to watch her suffer through this devastating disease. AJ honors her mom, her grandmother, her family, and all those who love someone fighting Alzheimer's by raising critical funds and awareness for this cause while having some fun along the way.
