Shrimp and Grits arrived at Stray Rescue after a Good Samaritan found them in North St. Louis. Both sisters were very sick with a horrible skin condition called non contagious demodex mange which is caused by poor nutrition and a very weakened immune system. Their poor skin was so pink, chapped, and scabby - they were in desperate need of antibiotics, pain meds, and medicated baths. Once the inflammation started to dissipate, they were ready for a medical foster home. Now they are both thriving and their skin is looking so much better! Grits is deaf, but she is so smart. She is learning hand signals from her foster mom to know her basic commands. Both of these girls will make amazing additions to their forever families.

Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually). All winning bidders will receive an email with more information once the auction has closed.
