Burnt Toast was transferred to us needing emergency medical care after being hit by a car in southern Missouri. He had a large wound on his ankle that had become severely infected, he was covered in fleas, and he was anemic. It was clear that no one had been taking care of him. We treated him in the clinic for weeks, but over time it became clear that the infection inside of his ankle had caused too much damage and his leg would never properly heal. The vet staff decided to amputate his leg, so he would one day be able to run and play without feeling any pain. Burnt Toast recovered from the amputation like a champ, and he is the most loving, energetic dog on three legs that you could ever meet.

Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). If you are not local to the St. Louis Area, shipping is available for this item upon request (for an additional cost which will be calculated for each piece individually).
