This mama had babies in a doghouse that she was chained to. She lived outside 100% of the time. On February 14th we had a huge win, and we were able to get her and all of her babies! It was 9 degrees outside that day, and the puppies were just 4 weeks old. We named them Serenade, Flirt, Cherish, Arrow, Amour, and Adore. They were finally warm for the first time in their lives. Galentine was able to finish nursing her puppies in the comfort of a foster home rather than the cold doghouse, and the puppies received the proper care that they needed. All of the babies were weaned, altered, and adopted. Galentine found her forever home at an emergency shelter adoption event, and the babies are each finding their own. This mama deserves the world.
