Title: Dilmom & Dilbert

Artist: Finn Hamm, Age 9

Medium: Markers

Dimensions: 9" x 11"

Animal Depicted: Dilmom & Dilbert

Dilmom was found in a field giving birth in June 2025. She had a puppy stuck in her birth canal and was in distress. We're told owners had no desire to help her, so concerned neighbors came together and were able to convince them to surrender her so they could rush her to an emergency vet. We tagged her and took over all of her medical bills and care.
She only had one little survivor puppy, Dilbert, but she just LOVES him! She would smile so big and lick him and care for him constantly. She wasn't producing enough milk, so her amazing foster mama helped by supplementing with a bottle on mama's tummy. Dilbert is now one month old, and both he and mama are thriving!

Status: Dilmom & Dilbert are still in a medical foster home and will both be available for foster or adoption soon!
