"Cousteau" 12x12 Framed Octopus Art collage made from upcycled materials.

Gliding peacefully in the ocean depths, this octopus decides to catch a few rays closer to the sparkling surface. This amazing creature was named for the French naval officer and oceanographer Jacques Cousteau - both brilliant in their own right. According to artist Susan Beth Mordigal, Cousteau was one of the most challenging artworks she has created. The extra small magazine pieces that were cut, re-cut and hole punched took too many hours to count! As always with a project, it never goes exactly according to plan, but fortunately, it goes in the direction it needs to and shows me what to change.
