unWINEd: A Toast to Hope for a Cure is more than just an event; it's a tradition that has brought people together for 14 unforgettable years to support children battling cancer and blood disorders. On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 5:30 PM, we'll gather one last time at the scenic Narcisi Winery for an evening of wine, delicious food, raffles, auctions, and heartfelt stories, all in support of UPMC Children's Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
As we mark the final year of unWINEd, the event takes on even greater meaning. This year, unWINEd proudly joins This Moment: Put a Child's Future First - the largest fundraising campaign in UPMC Children's Hospital's history. Together, we have a powerful opportunity to celebrate all that's been accomplished and to make an even bigger impact.
We're also on the verge of a major milestone: we're just $180,000 away from reaching $2 million raised through unWINEd over its 14-year history.
Each year, we're inspired by a courageous patient who shares their journey - reminding us of the hope your generosity brings. More than 1,000 children receive cancer care at UPMC Children's annually, and thanks to continued advances in research and treatment, 85% of children with cancer in the U.S. now survive five years or more.
