Host a Private Cooking Class for 4

Enjoy an intimate and personalized cooking experience for you and up to three friends (maximum 4 participants total), hosted in the home of Chef Educator Karen Tambor Avneri, a Leffell School parent.

Karen will guide your group through preparing delicious, seasonal dishes inspired by her Middle Eastern heritage. This hands-on evening is perfect for a special celebration or simply a fun and flavorful night out.

Details:

• Cooking class is for a maximum of 4 participants.
• The class will take place at Karen's home (location to be shared with the winner).
• To be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date.

About Chef Karen Tambor Avneri

Karen grew up in a Middle Eastern family where vibrant produce and family cooking were part of daily life. She helped her grandmother in her Kosher Lebanese catering business and is now co-writing a Kosher Lebanese cookbook with her mother.

A graduate of NYU Steinhardt with a degree in Communication, Karen worked in corporate events for over a decade before focusing on motherhood and, later, on inspiring others through food. She created the "Fun with Food" program at the Rockaway Hotel, introducing children to the joys of healthy, hands-on cooking. Today, Karen brings her culinary passion to adults through classes that combine hospitality, culture, and flavor in every dish.
