The 1968 Law and Order stamp was a 6-cent U.S. postage stamp issued on May 17, 1968, to honor and commemorate the nation's policemen as protectors and friends of the public. The stamp coincided with a growing national awareness of the vital role law enforcement played in maintaining internal peace and freedom, as reflected in legislation designating May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day in 1962.

The stamp was designed to pay tribute to police officers and express appreciation for their service and dedication in fighting crime.

Danny obtained a 16 x 20 inch print of this stamp, then had it professionally mounted on acid-free archived backing board, matted in cottage blue and oyster colors, covered with preservation glass, and finished with a custom red bevel frame. The overall size of this unique artwork, ready for hanging, is 24 x 28 inches.
