Description:
Full item name - "Grandma and I made this Flower Garden". My grandmother, Irene Greenwood of Wisconsin Dells, made these Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt blocks in the early 1930's. She made them by hand, using English paper piecing. When she gave up quilting in the 1970's, she gave me a stack of 100 of these blocks, each one different. I machine appliqued these antique blocks onto reproduction fabric and created the pieced shashing. The result combines old and new, and pays tribute to my grandmother's exquisite hand work.

The LGBTQ+ community deserve to love, live and flourish, especially in their younger years. GSAFE is working hard to make that possible. This is my small way to support that important work.
