ICL's Occupational Therapy (OT) clients focus on developing the skills necessary to achieve their greatest levels of independence and deepening participation in their communities.

Tools help with tasks like dressing, bathing, eating, and toileting.

Adaptive equipment training train clients to use assistive devices, address memory, attention, and executive functioning skills.

Sensory Integration tools help the brain process sensory information.

Examples:

Standing Frames are recommended for clients who use wheelchairs extensively. They enable passive standing positions for people living with mild to severe disabilities, including quadriplegia and paraplegia. Alternative positioning reduces health risks associated with prolonged sitting, improves physical, emotional, and mental health for clients of all ages.

Motor Activity Center. These can be wall-mounted or freestanding, and offer beneficial auditory, tactile, and visual sensory input. Can be wall-mounted or placed on the floor and can encourage more interactive and imaginative play.
