i was diagnosed with NF1 at 6 months old, its on the right side of my face and it goes in my ear and down my throat. it effects my vision in my right eye and it makes is so i have glaucoma, i had my first surgery at 3yrs old and as of right now iv'e had 12 surgery's in total. the NF makes is so i have holes in my skull, NF1 also makes my immune system very very very weak. When i was 9 i got really ill, so i went to the doctor and they blood work told me to go to a GI doctor and then they did blood work then a colonoscopy and endoscopy then i was diagnosed with Crohns disease. i did make a wish in 2020 but because of covid it got pushed to 2021, i was gonna go to disney and universal but covid is jerk...so i did spree, salem hills high school in salem utah did a make a wish week for me to raise money for make a wish. in 2022 i was diagnosed with EOE, and PAC, and in the beginning of 2022 PBS medical did a story documentary of my NF1 journey. im 14 ill be 15 in september, and my medical journey is still going and i love every bit of it, this is who i am and ill never change, i always say if they find a cure for NF1 i wouldnt do it because my tumor is who makes me, me. i love every challange and trial i have i wouldnt change or trade anything for it.
