50 years ago, the Springfield Bank wanted to commemorate a special anniversary. Bank President, William Lambacher, commissioned local artist, Thomas Harwood, to create four historic "Springfield Prints". The Fountain at the Esplanade, the Warder Library, the Covered Bridge on North Limestone Street, and the Pennsylvania House.
A limited set of these prints were given or sold to Springfield Bank customers.
Anne Whalen, Class of 1973, inherited this set from her Mother, Eileen Whalen, Class of 1936. Anne would be happy to know that her Springfield Prints were used to support Catholic Central at Emerald Evening.
All four prints are professionally framed.
