Holly's Gardens and Florist take on the House of Fabrege' Eggs, circa 1842-1917.
Only 44 known to exit out of 69 originally commissioned for the Russian tsars, usually as Easter gifts for their wife or mother. This colorful exhibit could make a marvelous Easter or Mother's Day gift to add to your curio collection. Note: The vase is an inverted crystal candlestick holder passed down by my Grandmother; the Crown perched atop the egg was donated by a dear friend of ours. The egg is painted eggplant. and many crystals and pearls meticulously applied with hot glue and tweezers. Styling reminiscent of the eggs created by the artisians at the House of Fabrege', St. Petersburg, Russia. Enjoy!
