For over fifty years, Meredith-Dunn School has served students with language-based learning disorders in the Louisville area and surrounding counties. Today, Meredith-Dunn School serves close to 155 students each year in grades 1-8, maintaining its mission to provide prescriptive instruction in a nurturing environment designed to empower students who learn differently in becoming accomplished learners and resilient individuals.

As a non-profit organization, we rely on our fundraising events to bridge the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating a child at Meredith-Dunn. Our annual Take Heart Gala serves as our primary fundraiser, raising funds through a combination of silent auctions, live auctions, bourbon pulls, and sponsorships.

The proceeds from this event are allocated towards facility improvements, specialized curricular programs, tuition assistance, and other essential school expenses not covered by tuition. We are grateful for the support of our community in helping us provide an invaluable service to our students.
