Birding Historic Limberlost
Step into the storied wilds of northeast Indiana with a private birding morning for up to four people in the legendary Limberlost Swamp Conservation Area-the very landscape that inspired naturalist and author Gene Stratton-Porter. Your guides, Randy and Terri Gorney Lehman, are not only expert birders but also passionate interpreters of the area's rich ecological and literary history.
Together, you'll explore the bird-filled wetlands of Limberlost Swamp and nearby Loblolly Marsh, where past and present intersect in a haven for both wildlife and words.
As a special keepsake, the winning bidder will also receive a 2016 reprint of Gene Stratton-Porter's bird-focused classic, What I Have Done With Birds-a window into her early ornithological work and her love for Indiana's native birdlife.
Discover more about this unique destination on the Indiana Birding Trail.
Winning bidder has one year to schedule the outing. Valid for up to four participants.
