• PEJU Legacy Collection 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (value $62) - Laden with notes of caramel and raspberry compote, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Legacy Collection is made from a distinctively different fabric than the regular Peju Cabernet. A blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec, it's brighter and more fun to drink, the red fruit and balanced acids balanced against darker notes of mocha and black cherries. Rated 95 points by Tasting Panel, 91 points by Wine Advocate, and 91 points by Wine Spectator.

• Frank Family Vineyards 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (value $48) - This beautifully complex and classically styled wine is perfumed with aromas of sweet blackberries, violets, and vanilla that guide espresso, nutmeg, and cedar flavors on the palate. Silky tannins and ample, fresh acidity support the complex flavors, lending elegance to the long, expressive finish. Rated 93 points by James Suckling.

• Nth Degree 2020 Merlot, Livermore Valley (value $35) - Generous flavors and aromas of candied cherries and red currants form the foundation. Delightfully deep and focused, the juicy and satisfying fruit unfolds with layers of rich, creamy oak that profiles chocolate, toasted marshmallow and fresh cinnamon sticks. While open and accessible now, those with patience will find this evolves beautifully over the next 10 years. Rated a Chairman's Selection.

• Ondalan 2017 Rioja, Rioja Alavesa (value $30) - Clean and bright. Ruby red of medium- to high intensity and brick red reflections from its evolution. High aromatic intensity of very ripe, red and black fruits with a second layer of spiced notes. On the palate, structured, full-bodied and intense tannins rounded by aging. Long with a final touch of ripened, black fruits and spices (clove).
