Have FUNN and Go Putt as we tee-off for Flying Squirrels Charities on May 12th at Hunting Hawk! The 4th annual tournament will feature plenty of opportunities for networking, mingling with Flying Squirrels players, coaches and staff and lots of FUNN out on the course.

Flying Squirrels Charities mission is to provide youth in our community access to athletic and educational opportunities through the game of baseball/softball. We aim to create a positive impact while bringing the FUNN to all we do!
This year's golf tournament will benefit three scholarship opportunities for Richmond area students who are continuing their education as well as our field renovation projects for Richmond Public High Schools.
RPS Field Renovations: Flying Squirrels Charities, in partnership with Gilbane, are proud to support youth athletics with baseball and softball field renovations at Richmond Public High Schools. The project will include upgrades to the dugouts, bullpens and backstops as well as field upkeep and maintenance for the baseball & softball programs at Huguenot, John Marshall, Thomas Jefferson and Armstrong High Schools.
All-Star Legacy Fund: One (1) $5,000 scholarship to a student-athlete committed to improving their community.
Richmond 34 Scholarship: One (1) $2,000 scholarship, renewable for all four years attending school, to a student attending Virginia State University and one (1) $2,000 renewable scholarship to a student attending Virginia Union University.

What are we raising money for?
-We currently raise money to support our two scholarships, All-Star Legacy and Richmond 34, which support students in and around the Richmond area. Our All-Star Legacy scholarship helps support student athletes and our Richmond 34 scholarship helps support students looking to attend either VUU or VSU. If you have a graduating high school senior interested in either of our scholarships, click here, to fill out the applications. Deadline to apply is Friday, May 31st.
How can I support Flying Squirrels Charities during the event?
-You can participate in our raffle, purchase mulligans, and/or try your hand at some contests we'll have on the course. All of these funds goes towards our $25,000 fundraising goal! Remember to tip your bar cart gals as this also go to the charity.
What should I wear?
-Golf attire is recommended. No open toe shoes.
