Beautiful artwork collaboration created by local artist Nicole Curry and Arkansas Children's patient Mia, age 10.

ABOUT MIA
Mia came to Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) as a baby for a hearing test and was diagnosed with hearing loss. She received hearing aids, speech therapy and, eventually, cochlear surgery. Her parents expressed how friendly the staff at ACH are every time they visit, and Mia loves seeing her audiologist, who makes her visits great. She is a strong-willed, funny girl, who is always helping and being a friend to others. Mia loves all sports and playing her guitar.

ABOUT THE ART
Mia loves art, especially guitar art. The verse Jeramiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" is a verse her family has always used to represent Mia's lifelong hearing journey. It has also become one of Mia's favorite verses.
