Enjoy a one-week stay in a charming, well-appointed 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin in the Serene Lakes neighborhood of Soda Springs, CA, located about 1.5 hours from Sacramento. Enjoy canoeing, sailing, swimming, hiking in the summer, or great cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Several ski areas are nearby, and Royal Gorge cross country ski trails are accessible out the back door! The historic town of Truckee is only a ten-minute drive. Cabin is fully stocked, has two full bathrooms, and sleeps 9 to 11 (one bedroom with queen bed, one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two queens and one twin, and pull out queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room). Comes with two canoes, a small sail boat, wifi, land-line telephone (cell phone service can be spotty), television with Roku streaming and Blue Ray DVD player (no network TV service). This is a very family-friendly place that has not been rented out -- just enjoyed by family and friends! Well-behaved dogs OK, too!
