If you are the parent of a teen, the journey of learning how to drive is just around the corner, and this package could be just right for you!

Behind the wheel driver's training instruction includes 6 hours of instruction - completed over 5 driving lessons, PLUS many Camellia extras.

The "extras" include:

• an additional 15 minutes during Lesson 1, which is usually only 1 hour, where Cindy will take the student driver and parents for the first 15 minutes of the lesson so everyone is on the same page.
• 
  A 70 min bonus driving lesson where. Cindy will focus most of the training working with the student on parallel, 90-degree, and diagonal parking.
  Cindy schedules the DMV exam and accompanies the student driver to their DMV appointment.

In the last three years, Cindy has worked with 15 plus Camellia alums and they are all confidently driving (with very happy parents).

MEET CINDY STINSON

Driver's Education Instructor, Cindy Stinson, is a Camellia alumni parent, former board member and longtime volunteer extraordinaire. In addition to being a seasoned Waldorf parent and committed Camellia volunteer, Cindy served in the Army for 5 years, later becoming a Sacramento Police Officer for 20-plus years, retiring in 2019 as a Lieutenant. She has over 500 hours of Emergency Vehicle Operations Training and 39 years of driving experience, much of which was under extraordinary circumstances!

Cindy is a certified Driver's Education instructor with the City of Trees Driving School. Cindy's driver's education curriculum works with the whole student, bringing kindness, patience and confidence. She has the patience of a Waldorf parent (of teenagers), the strength of an Army Sergeant and the driving wisdom of an experienced Police Lieutenant. She brings it all!
