Get ready for this one (1) hour lesson with Mighty Mac head coach Jen Rees DeJarld '87. The lesson can be private for one person, or it can be held for a group of up to four (4). Lesson will be held at a date/time that is mutually agreed upon.

This year, Coach DeJarld enters her 21st season as Head Coach of the Mighty Mac Volleyball program of Mother McAuley High School. She has been coaching Volleyball at Mother McAuley for the past 26 years. DeJarld has led the program to seven tournament appearances, including its latest State Championship in 2023.

DeJarld was named 2016 National Coach of the Year by Prep Volleyball and Coach of the Year by The Daily Southtown. In 2013, DeJarld coached the McAuley Mighty Macs to the Illinois 4A Championship. Then in 2014, the Mighty Macs, which featured both of DeJarld's daughters - Ryann and Jane - finished the season ranked 7th nationally. That year DeJarld was honored as "Coach of the Year" for her efforts. She also was selected to present at the Men's NCAA Final Four convention in Chicago on the topic of serving to score. Jen has twice been a presenter for The Art of Coaching Clinic.

As a former Mighty Mac Volleyball player herself, Coach DeJarld won two state titles in 1984 and 1985 and went on to play at the collegiate level at the University of Iowa, coached by Ruth Nelson.
